About me: I'm a writer/editor in the publishing business. I have experience with editorial, marketing, circulation and Web in magazines and books. I moved from California to New York 2.5 years ago, and though I miss the warm climate, slower pace and many loved ones, the adventure and career growth here in the Big Apple has been worth it!

I've been content focused in one way or another for as long as I can remember. I double-majored in Communications and English at UC Davis because I enjoyed and excelled at reading and paper writing, while math and science classes made me want to throw up.

Besides enjoying the publishing side of life, I also like: travel, adventure, food, wine, restaurants, cooking, entertaining, making cocktails and cookies, health/fitness, rec sports (dodgeball, kickball, soccer, bike riding), yoga/pilates, movies, TV, cats, German, board games...and of course hanging out and doing things with people that I care about!
